USB Camera: OTG & Webcam View

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the USB Camera: OTG & Webcam View Android app (package com.rmrsolutions.usbcamera, the "App"), provided by RMR Solutions LLC ("RMR Solutions", "we", "us"). Please read them carefully.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing or using the App, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not install or use the App.

2. What the App Does

The App lets you connect a USB Video Class (UVC) compatible camera, such as a webcam, microscope camera or endoscope, to your Android device through USB OTG, view a live preview, and capture photos and videos that are saved to your device's local storage.

3. Requirements

• An Android device that supports USB OTG.
• A UVC-compatible USB camera. We do not guarantee compatibility with every camera model or device.

4. Permissions

The App asks for the following permissions, only to provide its features:

• Camera / USB access: to detect and display your connected USB camera.
• Microphone: to record audio with videos, if your camera or device provides it.
• Storage access: to save the photos and videos you capture.

You can withdraw permissions at any time in your device settings, though some features may then stop working.

5. License

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App on your own devices for lawful, personal or business purposes. You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, decompile, sell, rent or redistribute the App, except where applicable law allows it.

6. Acceptable Use and Your Responsibility

You are solely responsible for what you record and for how you use recordings. You agree not to use the App to:

• record or photograph people without their knowledge or consent where the law requires it;
• violate privacy, surveillance, wiretapping or recording laws in your country or region;
• capture, store or share unlawful content; or
• interfere with or misuse the App, your device or third-party hardware.

7. Your Content

Photos and videos captured with the App are stored on your device. We do not receive, upload or have access to them. You own your content and are responsible for backing it up.

8. Advertising and Third-Party Services

The App may display ads and may use third-party services (for example, advertising and analytics providers). Those providers may process certain device information under their own policies. See our Privacy Policy for details.

9. No Affiliation

The App is an independent product. Brand names of cameras or devices mentioned by users or in app store listings belong to their respective owners, and the App is not affiliated with or endorsed by them.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, uninterrupted operation, or compatibility with any particular camera. The App is not intended for medical diagnosis, safety-critical monitoring or security-critical use.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, RMR Solutions will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits or hardware, arising from your use of the App. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

12. Changes and Termination

We may update the App or these Terms at any time. When we do, we will change the "Last updated" date above. Continued use after an update means you accept the new Terms. You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it. We may suspend or end access if you breach these Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Montana, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. If you are a consumer, you also keep any mandatory consumer rights you have under the laws of your country of residence.
