These terms apply to the Scooter Manager Android app (package name com.scootermanager.ride), published on Google Play by RMR Solutions ("we"). By installing or using the app, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please uninstall the app.
The app records rides with your phone's GPS, shows your speed and route on a map, keeps a ride history on your phone, exports rides as GPX files, offers care and safety guides, and can connect to a scooter over Bluetooth.
Scooter battery, scooter speed and scooter controls are not available, and the app does not change any setting on your scooter. Features may change, be added or be removed over time.
The app is independent and unofficial. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or authorized by Shenzhen KuKirin Technology Co., Ltd. KuKirin is a trademark of its owner and is used only to show compatibility. Other names and trademarks belong to their owners. We can't guarantee that the app will work with any particular scooter, model or firmware.
Your safety is your responsibility. Riding a scooter involves a risk of injury.
Speed, distance, route and ride time are estimates based on your phone's GPS, and may be wrong or unavailable. Maps may be incomplete or out of date. Don't rely on the app as a speedometer, for navigation or to prove your speed or location.
The guides are general information. They don't replace your scooter's manual or a qualified technician.
We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable license to use the app on your own devices for personal use. You agree not to:
The app and its content, excluding third-party material, belong to us. The rides you record remain yours.
The app is free, needs no account and shows ads through Google AdMob. Advertisers are responsible for their own ads, products and services. We don't endorse them, and your dealings with them are between you and them.
The app relies on services run by others, and their own terms and policies apply to your use of them. These include Google Play, Google's services, including AdMob, OpenFreeMap for map images, and map data from OpenStreetMap contributors. We don't control these services and can't promise they will always be available.
Your rides and settings are stored on your phone. Because there is no automatic backup, you can lose them if you uninstall the app, clear its data or lose your phone. Exporting your rides is up to you, and you are responsible for any file you export or share.

The app is not directed at children under 13. Riders must also meet any minimum age that local law sets for riding a scooter.
To the extent the law allows, the app is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement. We don't promise that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free or free of data loss.
To the extent the law allows, RMR Solutions is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or for any injury, accident, traffic fine, damage to a scooter or other property, or loss of data, arising from your use of the app or your inability to use it.
Nothing in these terms limits a liability or removes a consumer right that the law doesn't allow us to limit or remove.
You can stop using the app at any time by uninstalling it. We may change, suspend or stop offering the app at any time. Sections 2, 4, 10 and 11 continue to apply after you stop using the app.
We may update these terms. When we do, we will change the date at the top of this page. If you keep using the app after a change, the updated terms apply to you.
