DriveLink - Car Mode & Connect

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the DriveLink - Car Mode & Connect Android app (package com.rmrsolutions.zlinkcarplay, the "App"), provided by RMR Solutions LLC ("RMR Solutions", "we", "us"). Please read them carefully.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing or using the App, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not install or use the App.

2. What the App Does

The App helps you connect your Android phone to a compatible car display or head unit over Bluetooth, USB or Wi-Fi. It provides car screen mirroring, a driving-mode dashboard (including a speedometer and shortcuts for navigation, music and calls), and a setup and troubleshooting guide.

3. Compatibility

The App works with many Android head units and car infotainment systems, but we cannot guarantee that it works with every car, head unit, phone or software version. Some features depend on what your car and head unit support. We cannot guarantee a connection, screen output or audio routing on any specific device.

4. Permissions

Depending on the features you use, the App may ask for permissions such as:

• Bluetooth / nearby devices: to pair with your car or head unit.
• Location: to show speed and support navigation features in driving mode.
• Phone and contacts: to place hands-free calls to your chosen contacts.
• Notifications: to show connection status and driving-mode alerts.
• Screen capture or display access: to mirror your phone screen to your car display, only when you start mirroring.

You can change permissions at any time in your device settings, though some features may then stop working.

5. Speed and Navigation Information

Speed readings, speed alerts and navigation information are estimates based on your phone's sensors and signals. They may be inaccurate or delayed and must not be treated as a substitute for your vehicle's instruments, posted speed limits or official navigation. The App does not replace your own judgment.

6. License

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App on your own devices. You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, decompile, sell, rent or redistribute the App, or use it in a way that interferes with your vehicle's safety systems, except where applicable law allows it.

7. Acceptable Use

• Use the App only with vehicles and devices that you own or are authorized to use.
• Do not use the App in any way that is unlawful or that could distract you or others while driving.
• Do not attempt to bypass, modify or interfere with vehicle, head unit or third-party software protections.

8. No Affiliation

DriveLink is an independent app. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Zlink, MirrorLink, Apple, Google or any car or head unit manufacturer. All trademarks belong to their respective owners and are used only to describe compatibility or functionality. References to other car-connection systems are for description only.

9. Advertising and Third-Party Services

The App may display ads and may use third-party services (for example, advertising and analytics providers). Those providers may process certain device information under their own policies. See our Privacy Policy for details.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including uninterrupted operation, compatibility, accuracy or fitness for a particular purpose.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, RMR Solutions will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, for accidents, injuries, traffic violations or vehicle damage, or for loss of data or profits, arising from your use of the App. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

12. Changes and Termination

We may update the App or these Terms at any time. When we do, we will change the "Last updated" date above. Continued use after an update means you accept the new Terms. You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it. We may suspend or end access if you breach these Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Montana, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. If you are a consumer, you also keep any mandatory consumer rights you have under the laws of your country of residence.
